Common questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan does not require a credit card or payment method of any kind. You create an account with your email address and take the quiz. A card is only needed when you choose to upgrade to Atorie Studio.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
If you cancel Studio, your account reverts to the free plan. Your style profile and saved looks stay intact. You can export your profile data at any time from account settings. If you close your account entirely, your data is deleted within 30 days per our privacy policy.
How is Atorie different from Instagram shopping or Pinterest?
Social platforms optimize for engagement, not taste fit. Their shopping tools surface whatever labels have the highest ad budgets. Atorie starts from your actual wardrobe attributes and matches against every indexed label regardless of whether they advertise. Independent labels with no ad spend score exactly the same as large ones, if their garments fit your profile.
Can I use Atorie if I am a designer or boutique buyer?
Yes. Many of our early-access users were stylists and boutique buyers who used the discovery tools to find new labels for clients and buying seasons. The quiz works the same way regardless of whether you are shopping for yourself or for a client. How accurate are the style matches?
In our Q1 2026 pilot with 80 participants, the average match rating was 4.6 out of 5 after the profile completed its initial calibration phase (typically 20 interactions). The first round of matches is based purely on quiz answers. Accuracy improves noticeably after you save and skip your first 20 suggestions, because the model updates your attribute weights based on your choices.
